1. About these terms
These terms are between you and GG Entertainment Group Ltd, 4 Cavendish Walk, Bolsover, Derbyshire, S44 6DB. They apply to gaming membership of the upstairs gaming room, run through GG Guild in GG Vault. By joining, you agree to them.
Please read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, ask at the counter.
2. Joining and the fee
Membership is offered monthly or annually. The current fee for each is shown in store and on our website, ggentertainment.co.uk. All prices include VAT.
You pay at the counter or online, as offered at the time. Your membership is recorded on your GG Vault account and you can see it in My Vault. Monthly membership renews each month until you cancel. Annual membership runs for twelve months from the start date.
You must be 18 or over to hold a membership in your own name. Members under 18 are covered in the section on under-18s below.
3. What membership includes
- Table time in the upstairs gaming room for card and tabletop games, subject to space and any booked events.
- A weekly allowance of gaming PC time. The allowance is for the week it is given and does not roll over to the next week.
- Member offers, which we publish in store and through GG Vault. Offers may change and may have their own conditions.
- Access to member drops, run under the Member Drops and Allocation Policy (POL-08).
Table time and PC time are subject to availability. Private events, tournaments and release nights may mean some tables or PCs are reserved. We will try to give notice where we can.
4. Using your membership
Membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred, lent or shared. Check in at the counter each visit so we can record your table or PC time. We may ask for photo ID if we cannot match you to your account.
You must follow the Gaming Room Rules and Code of Conduct (POL-05) at all times.
5. Cancelling
If you joined online or by another distance method, you have the right to cancel a monthly or annual membership within 14 days of joining under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start your membership within the 14 days and then cancel, we may deduct a fair amount for what you used.
Monthly membership
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month, and you keep your benefits until then. Tell us at the counter or through the contact details on our website.
Annual membership
Once the 14-day cancellation period has passed, we do not give refunds part way through the year, except where the law requires it.
Joining in store gives you no statutory cooling-off right, but if you change your mind within 14 days and have not used the membership, ask us and we will usually refund you at our discretion.
When the subscription contract rules in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 apply to our memberships, we will send you renewal reminders and make cancelling easy.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, for example if we fail to provide the service you paid for.
6. Suspension and ending membership
We may suspend or end a membership if you seriously or repeatedly break the Gaming Room Rules and Code of Conduct (POL-05), or break these terms. We will tell you why. If we end your membership because of your conduct, we do not refund the remaining fee, except where the law requires it. If we end it for any other reason, we refund the unused part of your fee.
7. Members under 18
Rules for under-18s, including parental consent and supervision, are set out in the Under-18s and Parental Consent Policy (POL-04). A parent or guardian must agree to and be responsible for any membership held by a young person.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms or the benefits of membership. We will give you at least 30 days' notice in store, on our website or through GG Vault. If you do not accept a change that is to your disadvantage, you may cancel before it takes effect and we will refund any fee paid for the period after cancellation.
9. Your data
We hold your membership details in GG Vault. How we use personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice (POL-15).
11. Legal framework
