Singles

The one you need, not a whole box

Singles live in binders and cases. Every card is priced from current UK market prices and recent UK sales, then adjusted for condition and demand. Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Lorcana: ask about the game you are after.

  • Priced from UK sales, not a guess
  • Condition marked on the card, between two grades we use the lower
  • The price shown is the price, VAT included, no haggling on marked prices

Condition scale

Honest grading

Raw cards are graded in store on four steps, with Damaged below that. If a card sits between two grades, it gets the lower one. Condition is described as we see it, and our grading is our own opinion.

NM

Near Mint

Looks fresh from the pack. Little to no wear you can see without hunting for it.

LP

Lightly Played

Minor wear: light edge whitening or a faint scuff. Plays and displays well.

MP

Moderately Played

Clear wear on edges, corners or surface. Still a solid card for play.

HP

Heavily Played

Heavy wear, creases possible. Priced to match, and honest about it.

Damaged cards are labelled as damaged. Full detail in the pricing and grading policy.

Graded cards

Slabs, checked

Graded cards are priced by grading company and grade, because a 10 from one company is not a 10 from another. Every slab is checked for tampering before we sell it, and any slab we buy gets the same look.

  • Priced by company and grade
  • Checked for tampering, fakes and reprints refused
  • Bring yours to sell, we make one fair offer

Sealed product

Boxes, packs and new releases

Booster boxes and packs for opening at the table upstairs or keeping shut on a shelf. Limited allocations of hot releases go to GG Guild members as drops, at RRP, one per member per drop.

  • Drops at RRP for Guild members, collected within the window, normally 7 days, with photo ID
  • No reselling drop product for profit within 90 days
  • Not a member yet? Ask what is in

Questions

Cards, answered

How do you price singles?

From current UK market prices and recent UK sales, adjusted for condition and demand. The price shown is the price, including VAT. We do not haggle on marked prices.

What do Near Mint and Lightly Played mean?

They are steps on our raw card condition scale: Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played, then Damaged. If a card sits between two grades we use the lower one.

How do you check graded cards?

Graded slabs are checked for tampering before we buy or sell them. They are priced by grading company and grade. Fakes, reprints and tampered items are refused.

Can I get new releases at RRP?

Sometimes. Guild members can enter member drops: limited allocations at RRP, not guaranteed for every member, one per member per drop unless we say otherwise, by first come or random draw, and the method is announced up front. Collect within the window, normally 7 days, with photo ID. Read the drops policy.

Do you buy cards?

Yes. Bring them in and we make one fair offer, explained if you ask. Offers are valid on the day. You need photo ID and must be 18 or over, or bring a parent or guardian with their own ID. See selling to us.

Can under-18s trade cards upstairs?

Trades between customers are private. Under-18s may not trade high-value cards without a parent present. See the gaming room rules.
